Anya Offit

Undergraduate Fellow

Anya Offit, a current third-year Echols Scholar from Cape Elizabeth, Maine, is completing an Echols Interdisciplinary Major focusing on the disciplines of Commerce, Government, and English Literature. She has various extracurricular commitments at the University, including serving on the Echols Scholar Leadership Council through the Public Relations Committee and on the Inter-Sorority Council of UVA as the Women’s Issues Chair. She is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is an avid reader, and her favorite book is Anna Karenina; she also enjoys painting, drawing, traveling, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. She is passionate about politics and international affairs and is deeply interested in the current political climate for Jewish communities across the globe. She is looking forward to getting to know more of the vibrant Jewish community and learn more about the experience of Jewish students on Grounds through the Jewish Studies Undergraduate Fellowship Program.
