Kirsch is senior editor at The Atlantic and author of numerous books, including The Revolt Against Humanity: Imagining a Future without Us and, most recently, The Z Word: Reclaiming Zionism. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Times Literary Supplement, The New Yorker, Slate, Poetry, and Tablet.
