Casey Barkan

Casey Barkan is a third-year from Virginia Beach, VA double-majoring in Media Studies and Sociology with an intended minor in Social Entrepreneurship, all under the pre-law umbrella. He is an Emerson Fellow with StandWithUs and an Engagement Intern at the Brody Jewish Center Hillel. He also works with Virginia Athletics as a live event production assistant for ESPN and ACCN. He's passionate about activism through education and is especially interested in how misleading information or gaps in education directly contribute to antisemitism and antizionism. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys listening to music, going on hikes, and spending time on the beach.
