Ashleigh Elser

Postdoctoral Fellow in Theological Studies, Saint Louis University

Ashleigh Elser is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Theological Studies at Saint Louis University where she is working on a book about the reception of conflicts between biblical narrators in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and a few projects related to the reception history of the Bible’s ravens. Before coming to SLU, she taught as a Lilly Postdoctoral Fellow at Valparaiso University and an Assistant Professor of Religion at Hampden-Sydney College. She was a Manin Jewish Studies Fellow at the University of Virginia from 2011-2015.
