I am a 3rd year PhD student in the Department of Classics at UVA. I grew up in a small town called Yellow Springs, Ohio. I got my BA in 2021 in Classics (Latin and Greek) at the Ohio State University in Columbus. I study mainly ancient Greek and Latin poetry. Some of my favorite areas of study are intertextuality between poets (currently working on Pindar and Callimachus), Ancient Greek religion, and oral epic.
