About Herbert Friedman

Born in Vienna in 1924, Herbert Friedman was, at the age of 14, one of 10,000 children who were sent to England on the Kindertransport [the children’s transport] to escape Nazi persecution. He was later reunited with his parents and brother in the United States, where he served in the US Army and became a successful pharmacist. Watch Mark Friedman discuss his father's life and his reasons for establishing this fund in his memory.
