Eli Bardash

My name is Eli Bardash, and I am honored to be an Undergraduate Jewish Studies Fellow here at the University of Virginia. I am a third-year student from Falls Church, VA, majoring in Government and minoring in History and Mathematics, and this is my second year as an Undergraduate Fellow. I plan to apply to the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy to pursue a Master of Public Policy degree after my time as an undergraduate. During the last three summers, I have worked as a counselor at Camp Ramah in New England, a Jewish sleepaway camp, and I have worked in several political campaigns over the years. I’ve been broadly interested in Jewish Studies since middle school, and at UVa, I’ve taken several Jewish Studies courses, both in History and Religious Studies. Being an Undergraduate Fellow is an incredible way to see many great perspectives on Jewish Studies and Judaism more generally, and I look forward to contributing to a healthy academic environment in a field I care deeply about.
