Deborah Galaski is a PhD student in Religious Studies. Her research interests include rabbinic textuality, modern Jewish thought (especially American Jewish thought) and the role of narrative in religious ethics. She is particularly interested in the development and use of midrash, both in its historical context and in its role in contemporary Jewish education and thought.
