A lecture by Jeremy Eichler (Boston Globe Classical Music Critic) entitled "What Music Remembers: Deep Listening to War and the Echoes of History."

Critic and public historian Jeremy Eichler will share insights from his genre-blurring new book Time’s Echo: The Second World War, The Holocaust, and the Music of Remembrance, winner of three National Jewish Book Awards, including Book of the Year, and History Book of the Year by The Sunday Times of London

This presentation will be followed by a special performance of Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 3 by Daniel Sender (violin), Benjamin Rous (violin), Danielle Wiebe Burke (viola), and Clara Lee Rous (cello) in the Dome Room of the Rotunda.
