On Wednesday, April 2, UVA Jewish Studies will host its inaugural Alumni Series Event, which welcomes former Jewish Studies fellows and students back to Grounds to present on their current research and academic pursuits. Vanderbilt University Assistant Professor of Jewish Studies and Gender and Sexuality Studies Rebecca Epstein-Levi (PhD, Religious Studies, UVA '17). Professor Epstein-Levi will discuss her recent book, When We Collide: Sex, Social Risk, and Jewish Ethics, with UVA Professor of Religious Studies Elizabeth Shanks Alexander.
