Sarah Denne is a PhD candidate in Religious Studies at the University of Virginia with research interests in modern Jewish and Christian thought, aesthetics, and evil. She has previously written about ethics and subjectivity in Holocaust testimonies. Her current research focuses on the role of aesthetics in grappling with evil and engaging in moral transformation.
