Mikayla is a second-year master's candidate and Jefferson Scholar studying public policy and leadership. Her area of interest and expertise is child and family policy, specifically how well-being intersects with identity and the law. Having grown up in a Jewish-Christian household, her policy work and understanding of identity shine through an interfaith lens. Mikayla also holds a BA in English from the University of Virginia.
