Liv Kesser
Fourth-Year Spanish and Global Studies Major
Liv Kesser is a fourth-year double majoring in Spanish and Global Development Studies. Growing up in Charlottesville, she never felt like she had a strong Jewish community of people her age. Coming to UVA, she immersed herself in the Brody Jewish Center’s programming and the classes offered through the Jewish Studies Program. Through both, she finally found the Jewish community she had been seeking most of her life. Outside of academics, she loves being outside, whether it’s backpacking, hiking, camping, or sitting outside on the Lawn on a nice day. As a Susan and Mark B. Sisisky Jewish Studies Undergraduate Fellow, she's enjoyed furthering her knowledge of the religion she loves and discussing issues relating to Judaism around the world.
