Lisa Kopelnik 

Lisa Kopelnik is a fourth-year from the San Francisco Bay Area studying Politics Honors and Economics. In April of 2024, she was named a Truman Scholar and hopes to pursue a future career in law and public service. At UVA, she currently serves as the Student Member of UVA's Board of Visitors, where she represents and serves as an advocate for UVA's over 25,000 students. She is also the former Chair of the University Judiciary Committee, where she led the student-run body that adjudicates UVA's 12 Standards of Conduct. Coming from a Jewish background, she has deeply valued learning about the Jewish tradition from an academic perspective through the Jewish Studies Program at UVA.
