Lauren Metters
Lauren Metters is a fourth year student double majoring in History and Religious Studies, with a minor in Middle East studies. She has taken many Jewish studies courses across departments, but particularly enjoys studying Israel/Palestine and Post-Holocaust theology. She is also learning Modern Hebrew. This year, she is working on a Religious Studies honors thesis on how Catholic Mariology engages Jewish resources and traditions. Lauren is particularly committed to inter-religious dialogue and reconciliation, and endeavors to engage the Jewish Studies program with this in mind.
