Lauren Metters 

Lauren Metters graduated from UVA in 2025, with degrees in History and Religious Studies and a minor in Middle East studies. She took many Jewish studies courses across departments, but particularly enjoyed studying Israel/Palestine and Post-Holocaust theology. While at UVA, she also learned Modern Hebrew. She completed a Religious Studies Distinguished Majors Program honors thesis on how Catholic Mariology engages Jewish resources and traditions. In the Fall of 2025, she began a MAR program at Yale Divinity School.
