My name is Jake Bernstein, and I’m a third-year from West Hartford, CT. I am majoring in Commerce at McIntire and have an intended minor in Middle Eastern Studies. I am also a Co-President of the TAMID Group, Treasurer of Wahoos for Israel, and an Engagement Intern at Hillel. I have completed five Jewish Studies related courses at UVA, and I’m especially interested in the intersection of Judaism and Zionism with race and ethnicity. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going on hikes and finding new spots to eat around Charlottesville.
