Isabella Li

Izzy Li earned her MA in Religious Studies from UVA in May 2026. She first became interested in Jewish Studies through Biblical Hebrew classes, which eventually led her to the program. In May 2025, she graduated with a double major in Physics and Middle Eastern Studies. Beginning in Fall 2026, she will pursue a Master of Science in Physics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. While at UVA, Izzy worked as an avid teaching assistant in the Physics Department, where she enjoyed working with students and sharing her enthusiasm for the subject. Outside of school, you will probably find her with a book or knitting.
