
Gahl Pratt Pardes
Wallace Stegner Fellow in Fiction, Stanford University
Gahl Pardes is a writer and current Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. Her work has received recognition and/or support from the Sustainable Arts Foundation, the Henfield Prize for Fiction, the Balch Prize for the Short Story, and others. She was a Lecturer in English at the University of Virginia, where she also received an MFA as a Poe/Faulkner Fellow in Fiction and Manin Fellow in Jewish Studies. As a writer and director for stage and screen, she has had productions in theatres in the U.S., Canada, and Nepal, and on television spots around the world. She lives in the Bay Area and is at work on a novel.
