Eli Bardash
Undergraduate Fellow

My name is Eli Bardash, and I am honored to be an Undergraduate Jewish Studies Fellow here at the University of Virginia. I am a fourth-year student from Falls Church, VA, majoring in Government and minoring in History and Mathematics, and this is my third year as an Undergraduate Fellow. I am also concurrently pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at UVA, which I hope to use towards a pursuit of a career in public service after I graduate. For many summers, I worked as a counselor at Camp Ramah in New England, a Jewish sleepaway camp, and I have worked in several political campaigns over the years. I’ve been broadly interested in Jewish Studies since middle school, and at UVa, I’ve taken numerous Jewish Studies courses in Religious Studies, History, and Politics. Being an Undergraduate Fellow is an incredible way to see many great perspectives on Jewish Studies and Judaism more generally, and I look forward to contributing to a healthy academic environment in a field I care deeply about.
