Alana Cohen

Undergraduate Fellow

Alana is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying Environmental Sciences with a Conservation Specialization. She works with Environmental Science research labs at UVA and with UVA Sustainability’s Decarbonization Academy as an undergraduate fellow. Not only does she enjoy studying the environment, but she loves spending time in it too. You can typically find her white-water paddling, mountain-biking, hiking, or engaging in other adventure sports. Alana grew up outside of Washington, DC, with a tight-knit Jewish and Israeli family. She is an active member of Hillel and Chabad at UVA and is enrolled in Hebrew courses. She is looking forward to broadening her Jewish connections and knowledge as a Jewish Studies Fellow.
