On Saturday, November 1, as part of UVA Jewish Studie's 25-Year Anniversary Celebration, several Jewish Studies alumni will return to Grounds for two special events. At 1 PM, alumni turned professors Sam Brody (U Kansas), Rachel Gross (San Francisco U), and Jessica Kirzane (U Chicago) will discuss their journeys from UVA undergraduates to Jewish Studies scholars. Then, at 3 PM, alumni Erika Meitner, Laura-Eve Engel, Gahl Pratt Pardes, Raisa Tolchinsky, and Alexa Luborsky will read aloud their works of creative writing, including fiction and poetry.
