Mikayla earned her MA in Public Policy from UVA in 2025. Her area of interest and expertise is child and family policy, specifically how well-being intersects with identity and the law. Having grown up in a Jewish-Christian household, her policy work and understanding of identity shine through an interfaith lens. Mikayla also holds a BA in English from the University of Virginia.

Currently, she is pursuing a JD at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
