Grace Shawah is a fourth-year student majoring in Global Development Studies and minoring in Middle Eastern Studies. She is also pursuing a Masters in Public Policy on the accelerated track at UVA. After taking impactful classes in the Religious Studies department during her first and second years, Grace had the opportunity to work on interfaith projects at a non-profit in Morocco in summer of 2023. Most recently, she completed an internship at the Government Accountability Office working with their International Affairs and Trade team and hopes to return to the public sector upon completing her Masters program. She looks forward to another year as an undergraduate fellow and learning from the distinguished speakers.
