On March 25, 2025, Jewish Studies Undergraduate Fellows and faculty gathered for a dinner featuring Visiting Assistant Professor of Politics and Middle Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures Sophia Solomon. Professor Solomon introduced attendees to her research on sports and fan violence, before splitting the students into groups and asking them each to research a specific Jewish athlete's background, highlighting a challenge he or she overcame. The groups shared the athletes' impactful stories with each other at the end of the evening.
