Jewish Studies to Screen Film About Jewish Hospital Chaplaincy
To cap off the 25-Year Anniversary Celebration, UVA Jewish Studies will be screening the film "A Still Small Voice" (directed by Luke Lorentzen, produced by Kellen Quinn) on Sunday, November 2 at 5PM. The film follows a year in the life of a Jewish hospital chaplain. Following the film, a panel discussion about chaplaincy will occur, featuring Professor Emerita of Religious Studies and Rabbi Vanessa Ochs, Professor of Nursing Beth Epstein, and UVA Health Sciences Pastoral Educator Rev. Jacobus Greyling. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
