UVA Jewish Studies Alumni Carrie Cifers (PhD '23) published Dangerous Tales: Genesis 34 and Its Literary Descendants earlier this year with the Society of Biblical Literature Press. In this book, Cifers re-examines different interpretations of the biblical tale of Dinah in a way that helps readers engage biblical stories ethically.
