The UVA Jewish Studies Program will be co-sponsoring the next Forum on Jewish-Muslim Thought and Theology, which will take place at the University of Vienna on October 20-22, 2025. Several UVA Jewish Studies faculty will be participating and presenting papers during the Forum, which will focus on the topic of “Crisis and Critique.” Stay tuned to the UVA Jewish Studies website and social media accounts for more information as it becomes available.

The inaugural conference convened in 2022 at Humboldt University of Berlin's Institute for Islamic Theology and was entitled, "Cultures of Continuity: Jewish-Muslim Conversations on a Contested Ideal." The second conference took place at UVA in the spring of 2024.
