Jewish-Muslim Conversations on a Contested Ideal

The Forum for Jewish-Muslim Theology and Thought at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin held a conference October 24–October 26. The conference included two keynote addresses by Celene Ibrahim and Ephraim Meir, eight panels, and various other discussions.

UVA professors – including Virginia Center for the Study of Religion Co-Directors Dr. Asher Biemann and Dr. Oludamini Ogunnaike – attended. The conference was co-hosted by the Berliner Institut für Islamische Theologie, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the Virginia Center for the Study of Religion/Forum on Democracy, and the University of Virginia Jewish Studies Program.
